Production Coordinator

Job Description

An ideal candidate is part technical, part creative. Candidate will be self-motivated, able to multi task, and have strong problem solving skills. Being well organized and detail oriented are essential for the fast-paced environment. This role requires daily written and oral communication between internal departments and international suppliers. Positive attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support sales and account managers with vendor sourcing

• Weekly updating and maintenance of projects on department trackers

• Daily communication with suppliers regarding existing projects

• Purchase order entry, order follow up and tracking

• Assist in product proofing

• Assisting product quality control

• Assist in coordinating shipment asn process with warehouse

• This role will also involve training in the basic production processes

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of microsoft outlook, excel and adobe illustrator

• Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics and costing

• Ability to multi-task and work both independently and within a group

• Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines

• Organized with a high attention to detail

• Go-getter who is motivated to learn

• Team player, positive attitude, enthusiastic

• initiative, sense of urgency and attention to detail

Education & experience:

• Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

• Excellent business math skills
